Michael began acting at an early age; he was a member of group of improv actors know as the "Marshmello Fluffers", which quickly became "Fluffers" for short. He began with this group in 4th grade, and stayed with them until he entered Jr. High. Following that, Michael's acting career hit a large dry spot...

After college, and entering the Air Force, he found himself on stage again, for an annual awards banquet he helped facilitate. He found himself rapping with a bunch of middle aged white men of all things! Not exactly what he needed to jump start his acting ambitions again. (Believe me...we all stunk!)

After the Air Force, he re-entered college at San Francisco State University and earned a degree in Broadcasting and Communications. Being the shy type, he stayed away from on-camera or "talent" jobs, and studied audio engineering exclusively. Upon graduation, he quickly found employment in the Studio Productions arena, working for the local NBC affiliate. All of his work was conducted behind the camera, and away from the Microphone. After some time, an anchor friend of his suggested he might enjoy voice-over work, since most of his comedy improv was done in her ear as she attempted to relay news onto the air. I think she wanted him to find an outlet somewhere other than in her ear! (It didn't work...but that is another story).

Michael discovered The Voice Factory in the summer of 1995. His first class found him sitting next to another first time student and fellow Vortexian; Bill Tanzer! Bill and Michael went on to attend several classes and auditions together, nuturing each other, and becoming the best of friends.

Michael has recorded work for television documentaries, corporate voiceover, and mulit-market radio campaigns. He is represented by LOOK Talent Agency in San Francisco.

He finds his inspiration from his fellow Vortexians, his wife, and his two small children.
