Professional Bio
My first "theatrical" experience was dancing solo at my brother's Bar Mitzvah at age 8. Shortly afterward, I was cast as an extra on an NBC show taped in Brooklyn, NY, entitled The Green Thumb.
Having "wowed" campers with my rendition of "Rubber Ducky" at The Comstock Elementary School and Camp Birchwood talent shows, I became somewhat of a theatrical fixture. During my "tenure" at summer camp, I was fortunate enough to land the lead in the major camp production, two summers in-a-row!
I also became involved with the Noah's Ark choir at Temple Shearith Israel, in Ridgefield, CT, and starred as Tevye in the synagogue's production of Fiddler on the Roof.
During college in the great state of VT, I had several roles in two productions, Canterbury Tales and Celebration. Upon graduation, it was off to San Francisco.
Now in San Francisco, I studied acting at The Jean Shelton School. I was fortunate enough to attend an acting seminar lead by none other than Stella Adler herself. I also studied ballet at the SF Ballet School for Adults.
I was the lead Auctioneer at the citywide famous Sharper Image store auctions from 1986 to 1988 and was asked to highlight some products on AM San Francisco. During my tenure at Sharper Image, I was fortunate enough to play basketball with Wilt "the Stilt" Chamberlain for a home basketball photo shoot.
I began studying voiceover in June 99 at The Voice Factory in SF. I also signed on as a volunteer newsreader at The Rose Resnick Lighthouse for the Blind and have recorded TV/Cable listings for the blind too.
I've also had the good fortune of recording an episode of the animated series Men in Black, for Columbia Tri-Star and have recorded some web-based spots for MTV's Sonicnet.com, as well.
And I've had the good fortune to be part of the group currently producing The Violet Vortex, affectionately known as "The Cartoon Kids".
